Sugar Cookie Cards!

I can smell the aroma - my mom's Sour Cream Sugar Cookies baking in the oven.  She loved to bake for us when we were growing up and of course we enjoyed it! It wasn't just the cookie though - it was beautifully decorated! Now these paper Sugar Cookie Cards don't taste good, but they are cute!

Sending Cheer Sugar Cookie Cardsso

The "cookie" part of the card is Crumb Cake Cardstock Die cut with the 5th largest Deckled Circles Die. The die is positioned just above the top of the card so it opens.

The "frosting" is Basic White Cardstock that's cut with the 6th largest Deckled Circles Die and then embossed with the Cascading Ribbon 3D Embossing Folder.

Pumpkin Treat Holder

This is such an adorable pumpkin treat holder! It would be nice for Thanksgiving or to use as favors for a Fall event.  The original design is from Debbie Henderson and you can find her tutorial on YouTube. I fell in love with it and made some for a Stampin' Up! event last week.  I used the Them Bones Designer Series Paper which has a lovely plaid pattern on the back of it. You will find a link to the project sheet at the end of this post.

Untitled design - 2023-10-30T160522.688

Use the Deckled Circles Dies to cut out the cardstock and DSP circles. Cut out the Cardstock with the 2nd largest Deckled Circles Die and the Designer Series Paper with the third largest Deckled Circles Die.

I used a variety of fall colors for the leaves which are die cut with the All About Autumn dies. I did emboss the paper first using the Stripes  3D Embossing Folder as well as the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.

If you would like to purchase the supplies to make this treat holder, I have a generous rewards program! Tri-Panel Card with Night Divine Bundle

I am featuring the Night Divine Bundle this week. This is such a beautiful bundle with sentiments in a gorgeous font and beautiful dies.  I also love the accompanying O Holy Night Designer Series Paper with detailed graphics of Middle Eastern Landscape and starry skies.

The card I made today is from a card pattern by Debbie Henderson.  I love this card because it's a beautiful horizontal design that folds up nicely into one of our medium envelopes.  The card consists of three panels to display designer series paper, scenes, etc. You will find the Project Sheet at the end of this post.

Here's the front of the card:

Night divine tri panel 2 edited

And here's a look at the back:

Night divine tri fold back

Because I used the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper for my nativity die cuts, I used the Shining Brightly Specialty Designer Series Paper. The touches of gold in the paper pattern pairs nicelty with the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

the Country Corners Dies are great for making the shaped rectangles displayed on the front of the card.  I die cut three of them with the 2nd largest die in the set. I used the 2nd largest die to cut the vellum for the center panel. The die cut frame in the middle panel was made by using the 2nd largest and 3rd largest dies together.

If you would like to shop with me this week, I have a generous rewards program!
